I have started working with EWTC GmbH, one of the leading German direct tour operators for luxury travel to the Arabian Peninsula and many other destinations back in February of 2022. After getting to know each other and having a great mutual connection, I have finished my first project for the agency. Following that, in June of 2022 I began working on redesign of the EWTC website.
The main goal of the redesign was to give the website a fresh look, as well as to improve the functionality. It also included trying out different colour combinations, but not going too far from their look and feel. After many talk throughs, reviews, ideas, considerations and a few mockup versions, I came up with elegant, clean and elevated design solutions. In addition to optimised navigation, new features were added too. Website redesign is in a work-in-progress state, I can only provide sneak peak screenshots of the homepage, on desktop and mobile.
Task which I was able to do straight away (not waiting for the new design to be implemented) was giving a fresh look to the newsletter template of EWTC. The newsletter came out light, bright, spacious, easy to read and grasp the information from a quick look. I have designed it with Figma and built the template with Rapidmail tool, made it responsive as well. After documentation was written and calls have been made, employees at EWTC were able to update the newsletter content by themselves. The new template is in use since July 2022.
The collaboration with Ruta was very productive from the very first day and we also got on very well on a personal level. All design proposals were creative and well thought-out and the implementation in Webflow was done quickly and technically clean. All in all, a great, smooth project. To be continued!
