Who is damruta?
I'm Ruta Dambrauskaite (a difficult last name, I know!), a Lithuanian web designer based in Cologne. I specialize in creating highly customized websites using Webflow and designing them with Figma.

After studying publishing in Vilnius and completing an internship in Munich, I've worked as a web designer since 2015 (freelancer since 2021).
I speak four languages
While Lithuanian is my mother tongue, I’m also comfortable working in English, German, and Spanish.

I create websites for any business, project or event – whether it's a medical practice, a construction company, a law firm, a restaurant, a festival or a band. I'm also there for dancers, photographers, videographers or museums. Whatever you need, I make it happen!
The world inspires me
Color palettes, shapes and figures that I discover in museums, theaters, concerts, buildings and on my travels inspire me to create my designs.
What inspires me
My favorite music style is metal.
I love going to metal concerts, my favorite genre is progressive metal. Top 3 bands: Northlane, Textures and Fixation.
I enjoy hiking.
Time in nature clears my mind, and I can never get enough of the mountains!
Can't live without Sushi
I'm not just talking about the food here, but also about my cat, who is also called Sushi.
I love watching crime shows.
Suspense, mystery and the unexpected make my heart beat faster. Top 3 series: Dexter, Fargo and Justified.

Independent and very quick.
Ruta joined the content management team at s.Oliver at the end of September 2021. Her daily tasks involve the creation or updates of different content assets like homepage, landing pages or promotions which are maintained in HTML and CSS. The tasks are handled by her independently and undoubtedly well. She learnt to cope with the tasks very quickly and delivered them on time. Ruta is a team player, her connection with other departments - category and channel management - is superb.
